Implausible Landscapes
Implausible Landscapes brings together the work of four London-based artists, each of whom has taken an idiosyncratic approach in addressing the theme of landscape.  The work presented tests the conventional understanding of what a landscape can be, visually, cerebrally and culturally.

Drawing Open
This exhibition brings together contemporary drawing practices.  The exhibition was selected by Rod Bugg, Polly Binns and Lyndsey Keeling.

5
This exhibition, at Aberystwyth Arts Centre, brought together works made by three former Artists in Residence, Ralph J Colmar, Lucy Harvey and Katherine Sulllivan, with the current Artists in Residence, Priya Chohan and Annabelle Shelton.

Their Specific Reality
This was my first solo show following a residency at Wedge Gallery as part of a project called 52 Weeks of Art, led by Peter Walker.  The title of the show is taken from Gaston Bachelard's 'The Poetics of Space'.

Play Pause Stop
Alternative Arts presents a 4 Walls exhibition, conceived and curated by Chohan and co-curated by Clarke, Fawke, Hampton, Merritt and Wallis.   Play Pause Stop is a group show, which brings together seven pre-emerging contemporary artists working across different media to question painting and drawing. The artists are each interested with the universal issue of time, in different ways, whether by focussing heavily on research and exploring the historical narratives of an object or obsessively working with a diverse range of time based processes.

One or Several Wolves?
Kingsgate Gallery presents One or Several Wolves? an exhibition curated by Priya Chohan and Annelie Fawke.
One or Several Wolves? is an exhibition which highlights the work of a group of artists interested in the relationship between conceptual motivations and the seduction of material processes.  Each artist working in variety of media seeks to explore the tensions that arise between an indulgence in materials and working within a contextual and philosophical framework. This exhibition seeks to explore making as an unconscious and poetic act, stimulating dialogue between the spontaneity of creation and the reason for an objects construction.

Gibbo Crosses the Line
FloSpace is pleased to announce its second how, Gibbo Crosses the Line - a collaborative project by Priya chohan, Ingrid Sanfey and Wang Ip Sstzo.  A drawing, which challenges what a drawing can be, responding to the unusual space of Gibbo's bar.  They have set themselves a task of creating a drawing, which takes over the space, which climbs the walls and the ceiling.  The three artists will respond to the existing light and line of the space.  They will push themselves outside of their comfort zones, working together to understand their surroundings. It will be created under time constraints, given just 4 days, the show will open on Thursday 4th October whatever the outcome of the making process. The artists will use traditional materials as well as utilising and experimenting with the objects found in the space. They will set each other rules, testing their own perceptions of drawing. In this temporal installation, which will only ever exist in this space, they will develop their own individual interests in drawing, whilst always coming back to the space, to the group.

Catalogue
As viewers, we often only experience art through documentation, whether that's due to the time
based nature of work or because geography doesn't allow for us to physically encounter the piece.
At the private view, visitors were confronted with a reception, where they were given a limited edition catalogue of work and then led into an empty room. This exhibition was meant, from my perspective at least, to act as a catalyst for discussion about the role of documentation and the conceptual repercussions it has on the work itself, when it is specifically meant to be viewed as a document only.
